Have you tried personal goal setting and had some success? Or, maybe the goals that you set for yourself fell by the wayside and you walked away from it thinking that it just doesn’t work? Yes, me too, me too.
A few years ago, I felt that setting goals were things I didn’t need to do. Why? Personal goal setting was for other people. You know, the overachievers and the ones that actually wanted to get things done. Certainly not me. :S
Sure, I’d think about them in my head but nothing came of them (hello New Year’s goals) year after year. Of course, nothing ever really happened because they weren’t real goals, they were just dreams. Wishful fantasies I wanted in my head but never took the time to properly plan and think them out.
That lack of planning definitely landed me in a ton of hot water.
It wasn’t until quite recently that I realized there’s a real trick to ensure you’ll achieve almost any goal you set for yourself.
