I found this ornate picture frame at a thrift shop for a dollar. I thought it was so elegant looking with the ornate design but wasn’t too fond of the brassy/gold color.
The wonders of spray paint! I had some leftover silver spray paint and changed up the color. Here is the “after.” I was really afraid that the paint would run so I used very light sweeps and went over this frame several times to coat it.
I thought about adding a mirror inside it but then decided against it. I love the way it looks by itself and it’s received several complements already. =) I think I’ll leave it as is, for now anyway.

I just hung it up above my kitchen sink to decorate that spot. I thought about adding an inspirational quote. I may do that later on. How do you think it turned out?
